On the 20th of November 1995 the BBC broadcast an interview between Princess Diana and Martin Bashir.

It was watched by nearly 23 million people in the UK and 200 million worldwide. It was her chance to take control of the narrative. It was his chance to be part of it. But did the how, the when and the why it all came about end up overshadowing what it was really meant to be?
