Nominations announced for the 2020 Olivier Awards

Today the 2020 Olivier Award nominees were announced.

&Juliet leads with 9 nominations including Best New Musical, Best Actress in a Musical (Miriam-Teak Lee)and Best Costume Design.

Dear Evan Hansen received 7 nominations including Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical (Sam Tutty) and Best Original Score.

Mary Poppins lands 6 nominations including Best Musical Revival, Best Actor in a Musical (Charlie Stemp) and Best Actress in a Musical (Zizi Strallen).

Leopoldstadt, the new production from Tom Stoppard received 2 nominations, Best New Play and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Adrian Scarborough).

Uncle Vanya received 4 nominations including Best Actor in a Play (Toby Jones), Best Director and Best Set Design.
